Apostle Paul in Phllipians 1:12 says that his bonds caused the progression of the gospel. He was able to tell many in the pretorian guard about the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Because he was imprisoned, he could not visit all the churches. So he wrote letters to those churches, the Prison Epistles. Never lose heart when you are faced with adversities. The same apostle wrote in Romans 8:28, “And we know that God causes all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
