“One who is gracious to a poor man lends to the Lord and He will repay him for his good deed (Pro.19:17).
Gracious or kind to the poor refers to a concern that goes beyond pity. It refers to a helping hand, to meeting their needs. Giving to the poor is like lending to the Lord as an investment God will reward.
Nothing we do for those in need is ever wasted. Even if your sacrificial givings are unappreciated or unacknowledged here on earth, God knows what you`ve done and faithfully reward you.
Be kind and generous to those in need. Believe me, there are so many needy people around us. Just keep your eyes and ears open.
